Setting Up Multiple Locations: Configure Practice Names and Practitioners Correctly

Check Your Multi-Location Settings

Do you work with multiple locations in TurnUp? Regularly reviewing your location settings helps ensure that patients see the correct practice information and that appointments, practitioners, and communications are linked to the correct location.

1. Check the Practice Name

Go to Settings → Organization → Company Information.

Verify that the practice name matches the name displayed to patients in the TurnUp app.

⚠️ If the names do not match, update the information and contact support if needed.

2. Check Practitioner Location Assignments

Go to Settings → Employees.

Review each practitioner and verify that they are assigned to the correct location.

A practitioner assigned to the wrong location may:

  • Not appear in the correct calendar.
  • Be displayed under the wrong location.
  • Cause issues with appointments and communications.

3. Check Calendar Synchronization

Verify in your PMS system that the calendars for the location are actively connected.

Common Check

Regularly compare:

  • The practice name in TurnUp.
  • The practice name in your PMS system.
  • The practice name displayed in the TurnUp app.

These names should match to avoid confusion for patients.
