What if my practice is not using TurnUp World yet, but I’ve already been informed?

Many patients receive information before their practice officially goes live with TurnUp World. What can you expect?

Some practices proactively communicate about TurnUp World before they are fully live. This means that, as a patient, you may already be able to take certain steps, even if the practice is not yet fully set up technically.

Can I already use the app?

Yes! As soon as you receive an invitation or information about TurnUp World from your practice, you can already download the mobile app via:

  • Google Play Store (Android)

  • Apple App Store (iOS)

Even before the official go-live, this allows you to take a first look at your appointments or notifications.

Which information is visible?

We try to automatically display your upcoming appointments based on:

  • your mobile phone number,

  • your email address,

  • your date of birth.

If these details exactly match the information stored in your practice’s patient management system (such as DentAdmin or CareConnect), your appointments will be automatically linked and shown in the app.

My appointment is not visible in the app — how does it come?

There can be several reasons:

  • The phone number in the app does not match the one registered by your practice.

  • An outdated or incorrect email address is stored in your patient record.

  • Your details are incomplete or inconsistent in the practice’s system.

  • The practice is not yet live with TurnUp World, and synchronization is not active yet.

We recommend checking that your contact details are correct with your practice. If you’re unsure, you can also consult the TurnUp support page or contact us via the support form.

How will I be informed as a patient?

All official communication is sent via the known email address of your practice. You will receive:

  • a clear introduction to TurnUp World,

  • an explanation of the app and what will change,

  • instructions on where to go if you have questions.

Your practice therefore remains your trusted point of contact, also for questions about TurnUp World.
